Originally from New York and primarily self-taught, Jeanne Hauser is a San Francisco based photographer who has been showing her art work in the Bay Area for more than 15 years. Her work is exhibited regularly at the City Art Gallery in San Francisco. She was a featured artist in the Rayko Photo Center Marketplace. In 2014, one of her photographs was chosen for the live action at the prestegious Art for Aids fundraiser. Her limited edition book of iconic images of San Francisco made using a plastic camera, “7 Squared, 49 Pictures of San Francisco”, was acquired by the San Francisco Public Library for their archives. She works with analog, digital and alternative processes with emphasis on subject matter that is influenced by her love for the natural environment. Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States and abroad.
